HB285 Re-refered to SJC by Senate
HB285 was voted to be re-referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee by a voice vote on the consent calendar of the full Senate. The Senate vote adopted the recommendation of the committee that was reported by Sen. Sharon Carson:
This is one of three bills on the right-to-know statute, RSA 91-A, being re-referred to committee. The purpose is to look at all three aspects in the different bills in the larger context of the entire statute.
The committee recommendation was by a 5-0 vote. HB285 allows non-public sessions for written legal correspondence. Since this bill has been re-referred, it will come back up next session.
