House and Senate Passed HB606

Today, both the House and Senate adopted the Conference Committee report on HB606 by voice votes. This bill clarifies that no fees may be charged to inspect or deliver records when no copies are made. The committee report was written by Rep. Joseph Hagan:

The House and Senate conferees agreed to compromise language, merging the House and Senate positions.

The Conference Committee report included an amended version of the bill. The amended bill now goes to the Governor.
