Senate Passed HB1395 and House Concurred

The Senate passed HB1395 as amended on the consent calendar by a voice vote. The Senate also approved the amendment to HB1395 by a voice vote. This bill allows portable document format files for long term records. It was previously approved 5-0 by the Senate Public and Municipal Affairs Committee with a recommendation that the bill ought to pass with amendment.

Since the Senate amended HB1395, it was returned to the House. The House concurred with the amendment so there is no need for a conference committee. The bill now goes to the Governor.
