HB1465 ITL by HLAC

HB1465 was voted 7-0 to be inexpedient to legislate by the House Legislative Administration Committee. This bill would have required recording of roll call votes of legislative committees. The report on the bill from the committee was written by Rep. James MacKay:

The central focus of this legislation is to make available to the public the results of roll call votes and other pertinent data in as timely a manner as possible. The Office of the House clerk is already taking responsibility to satisfy the interest of this legislation. The important goals of this bill are in the process of being reviewed and achieved and therefore the legislation is not needed.

This bill now goes to the full House for a vote on the consent calendar on March 9, 2016.
