House Killed HB1593

The House killed HB1593 by a voice vote this week. This bill would have prohibited agencies from charging for labor to access records. It was previously rejected 9-0 by the House Legislative Administration Committee with a recommendation that the bill was inexpedient to legislate. The committee had placed the bill on the consent calendar but it was removed to the regular calendar by Rep. J. R. Hoell.
