Carroll County Commission Violated RTK Law

The Conway Daily Sun reports that the Carroll County Commission violated the Right-to-Know Law:

Carroll County commissioners violated the state right-to-know law on numerous occasions with regard to their meeting minutes and their process for going into nonpublic session, a Carroll County Superior Court Judge ruled based on a lawsuit filed by a state representative. Judge Charles Temple ordered that some minutes be redacted and released, but he stopped short of imposing civil penalties.

In an earlier article, the commissioners blasted the Right-to-Know Law:

“I’m a retired businessman, if someone would have told me, when I was working for a living, that, ‘the three of you are going to run this company but you can’t talk to each other,’ I would have said, ‘are you nuts?'” said [Commissioner Denny] Miller.
